Both players accompanied Ángel Víctor Torres, vicepresident of the council and sports minister, for the spectacular presentation of the Gran Canaria Isla Europea del Deporte 2017 Open. A presentation that took place at the Plaza de Saulo Torón, located by the beach, where the players thrilled the spectators.For a week, the island of Gran Canaria and its capital, Las Palmas, will become the world capital of padel. A fascinating tournament which will include the return of Fernando Belasteguín after his injury. The event will also include the attraction for the locals of seeing their homegrown players compete: Aday Santana, who plays alongside Álvaro Cepero, and Jordi Muñoz, who will play alongside Víctor Ruíz.The main scene of the tournament is the Gran Canaria Arena, where the main draw of the tournament will begin tomorrow.
