Padel's presence in Sweden is getting stronger and stronger. The Scandinavian country is also getting swept away by the fever of the fastest growing sport in the world and it includes a stellar name leading the line, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, ahead of the tour's visit to Sweden for its first ever Open.
The Manchester United striker opened a padel club in Stockholm, PadelZenter, and did so with the World Padel Tour's stars Fernando Belasteguín and Matías Díaz. The three shared a court with Sofia Arvidsson, who is the director of the Swedish Padel Open which will take place from the 23rd to the 29th of July in Bastad. Ibrahimovic's teammate Paul Pogba also joined the party in a day full of padel and football. Further proof of the growth of padel in Sweden.
