Young stars Tapia and Coello link up to form promising couple

Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia have announced they will play together for the 2023 World Padel Tour season.

Coello and Tapia are the youngest two players inside the ranking's top ten and the two youngest male winners in WPT history.

Logically, this leaves fans excited for the upcoming season, where the Spaniard and the Argentinian will be expected to challenge at the very top.

Between them, they won eight titles in the 2022 campaign - five for Tapia alongside Sanyo Gutierrez, and three for Coello next to Fernando Belasteguin.

For the first time in his career, Tapia will now be the most experienced player in his team.

Having played alongside the likes of Marcello JardimJuan Martin DiazFernando BelasteguinPablo Lima and most recently Sanyo Gutierrez, Tapia has always enjoyed veteran leadership at his side.

The 23-year-old will now have to take the reins, which will be something to keep an eye on in 2023.

While Coello too has shared the court with veterans like Bela and Miguel Lamperti, the 20-year-old from Valladolid has had success too playing with other young talents like Alejandro Arroyo and Ivan Ramirez.
