World Padel Tour postpones the Oviedo Open

Once the current situation derived from the Alert State decreed due to the global health crisis has been analyzed, World Padel Tour has decided, after studying possible scenarios with the Oviedo City Council, to postpone the Oviedo Open 2020 until the last week of August.

Taking into account the current health evolution generated by the COVID-19, and considering the presumed delay in the terms of return to situations closer to the desired normality, both the authorities of the Asturian capital and the World Padel Tour management have decided postpone the tournament scheduled for mid-May to the last week of August, becoming the new official date from August 23 to 30, 2020.

The postponement does not affect the venue, which will continue to be the Palacio de los Deportes de Oviedo, nor the locations already acquired for the event, which will continue to be equally valid for the days for which they were purchased. In the event that this change of date prevents any fan from enjoying the event, the amount of the affected towns would be reimbursed by the organization. To do this, they must write to the email

We are confident that this decision will give everyone more time to overcome the current difficulties and offer a stage in keeping with the World Padel Tour show.
