World Padel Tour will be making a modification in its 2022 calendar as the Sardegna Open 2022 has been cancelled. The Italian event, which was due to take place between September 5th and September 11th, will not go ahead by decision of the licensing company NSA Group which, unilaterally and having previously breached its contractual obligations, has terminated the contract signed with Setpoint Events by proceeding to its resolution on 5 July 2022, meaning that it will be impossible to hold the tournament in Italy in 2022.
World Padel Tour will hold the Cascais Padel Open on the same dates, which will be held in the town in the Lisbon district for another season.
