One of the attractives was the debut of Poggi-Cepero as a pairing. The Argentine and the Gaditano didn't find it easy against two of the best players on the Catalan tour: Sanmarti-Biglieri. After comfortably taking the first set 6-2, they were surprised in the second (6-4) and ended up taking the clash by a break in the deciding set. Awaiting them in the last 16 are Aris Patiniotis and Toni Bueno who took a brilliant win against German Tamame and Andres Britos by 6-4, 7-6.

Another of the interesting encounters of the day included four Andalusians: Rubio-Ruiz vs. Gaspar-Gonzalez. The win went to the couple from Seville and Granada by 6-3, 3-6, 6-2. Tomorrow they take on the number 1 seeds, Gonzalo Diaz and Luciano Capra.

Raúl-Díaz-Marcos

Meanwhile, the number two seeds, Alejandro Ruiz and Matias Marina, will kick off their tournament against Raul Marcos Duran and Raul Diaz, who beat Victor Ruiz and David Garcia today 6-4, 6-4.

Tomorrow, from 9:30 onwards, every last 16 match will be played on centre court at the Slam Club in Collbató. You can see every result and order of play here.
