Ruiz and Diestro started dominating with a break in the second game and took a 3-0 lead. Garcia Diestro controlled the tempo and Ruiz executed, and Garrido-Allemandi struggled to get into the match.The Spanish pairing took the first set 6-3 in just 39 minutes. Just like in previous rounds, Allemandi and Garrido started to get going in the second set. They cut down their unforcd errors and broke to lead 3-1. But they didn't consolidate their lead and Diestro-Ruiz broke back in the fifth game. Diestro and Ruiz found their winning formula from the first set again and broke once more to go up 4-3. They took the next two games and won 6-3 in under an hour and ten minutes. Garcia Diestro and Victor Ruiz are the champions of the Cabrera de Mar Challenger 2018!
