Reigning number ones Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay have won their seventh title of the 2022 season after beating Tamara Icardo and Delfi Brea in Sunday's final at La Fonteta.
In what was possibly the best match of the season, Salazar and Triay conceded two match points in the deciding tie-break, needing five match points themselves to win the three-and-a-half-hour match.
Salazar and Triay consolidate their position at the top of the rankings, while Brea and Icardo will still look back on a very successful tournament in Valencia.
