Number ones Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar have reached their fifth consecutive final in World Padel Tour after beating their former team-mates Lucía Sainz and Marta Marrero in dominant fashion in the Circus Brussels Padel Open 2022 semi-finals.

Salazar played with Marrero between 2015 and 2018, while Triay and Sainz were coupled up for five seasons, both pairings reaching number one status.

There was no love lost between the four, although Salazar and Triay dominated from start to finish. They will have the chance to lift their fourth title this season on Sunday at the Tour & Taxis in the Belgian capital of Brussels.
