Two big shocks were handed out on Friday in the Danish Padel Open 2022 quarter-finals at the Royal Stage Hillerød.

All top eight seeds had made it to the quarter-finals, but several of the top four were defeated before making it to the weekend matches.

First on the menu at centre court was a duel between number ones Juan Lebrón and Alejandro Galán as they faced the winning partnership of Lucho Capra and Maxi Sánchez.

Lima/Stupaczuk (4) vs Ruiz/González (7)

Next up were the recently formed duos of Pablo Lima and Franco Stupaczuk against the latter's ex-teammate Alejandro Ruiz and Momo González.

Three Argentinians and two former number ones shared centre court next as Sanyo Gutiérrez and Agustín Tapia faced Arturo Coello and Fernando Belasteguín.
