The Twins want their third consecutive crown

Cata and Bea end the season with a strong performance

The Twins want their third consecutive crown

After the two hour fifteen minute battle between Sainz/Triay and Llaguno/Amatriain, Bea González and Cata Tenorio took to the court to face the Sánchez Alayeto sisters. A match which already took place in Granada, when the twins controlled proceedings. The first set was a beautiful duel in which Mapi and Majo imposed their style but Bea and Cata played a brave game to try and fight fire with fire. The end result was 6-2 to the women coached by Jorge Martinez.

In the second set Cata and Bea had learned their lesson and made sure they didn't allow the twins to distance themselves on the scoreboard. Bea started to loosen up and Tenorio cut down her unforced errors. They broke in the first game but the Alayetos reacted, despite having to fight much harder for every point. No one gave an inch and the set went to a tiebreak, which the twins took (7-6). Cata and Bea finish the season with a brilliant performance but its Majo and Mapi who advance.
