With just two tournaments to go, time is running out in the women's Race 2022.

Just six players are guaranteed a place at the Estrella Damm Barcelona Master Final, the final tournament and climax of the season.

Only the top 16 players qualify. This is determined via The Race, a separate ranking made for the season's tournaments alone.

Just the Areco Malmö Padel Open and the Telcel Huawei Mexico Open remain, meaning just 2.000 points are available - check out who is still fighting to be at the Master Final!

Who is qualified

Unsurprisingly, Paula Josemaría, Ariana Sánchez, Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay are all qualified already as the top two seeds.

Josemaría and Sánchez are 985 points up on their rivals with two tournaments left, all but guaranteeing them the one-seed.

Two players who are already locked into their place for the Master Final are Marta Ortega and Bea González, who are guaranteed the three-seed with 6.845 points each.

They are the only six players who are mathematically qualified. The rest are still fighting for their tickets.

The fight to the Sant Jordi

Just 1.490 points separate Virginia Riera in seventh (4.645 points) and Majo Sánchez Alayeto in 16th (3.155 points), meaning the deck could still be shuffled significantly in terms of seeding for the Master Final.

Riera, Patricia Llaguno, Aranza Osoro, Victoria Iglesias, Marta Marrero and Lucía Sainz are all over a thousand points clear off 17th-placed Tamara Icardo, meaning they should be safe barring an extraordinary turnaround.

Majo, more than her twin sister Mapi who has 595 points more, is in real danger to lose her place at the Palau Sant Jordi.

Icardo, Delfi Brea and Sofia Araújo are within 352 points of Majo. One semi-final appearance for any of these players could swing the tide in their favour.

Marta Talaván, Claudia Jensen and Carla Mesa are all within a thousand points of Majo, but with only 2.000 available, chances are very slim.
