There's only one event left in the World Padel Tour before the Estrella Damm Master Final. After the Argentine swing, the rankings have suffered major changes. The Spaniard, Paquito Navarro, has moved up to number three. He will finish the season with the same points as his partner Sanyo Gutiérrez, leaving them as the number two pairing in the world rankings. The most important change has come between the number eight and nine pairings. It's a vital ranking, as the number 8 pairing has access to the Master Final. Right now it's tighter than ever, as Marcello Jardim and Franco Stupaczuk have overtaken Willy Lahoz and Aday Santana. Willy and Aday reached the semifinals in Mendoza and Stupa/Jardim did the same in Buenos Aires. Both pairings have shown their appetite and they're offering us a tremendous final stretch to the season. Despite both pairings reaching semifinals in Argentina, the Brazilian/Argentine duo grabbed more points as they reached the penultimate round at a Masters event, which has more points on offer. This sport showed the tremendous sportsmanship that exists between the players, as Aday Santana send a Tweet congratulating Franco and Stupa.Another pairing on the up is Seba Nerone - Álex Ruiz, who have come out stronger from the South American swing after reaching the semis of the Buenos Aires Padel Master. The Spnaiard moves up six places and the Argentine nine. This puts a positive end to their first season together. Also, two up and coming players such as Aris Patiniotis and Cristian Germán Gutiérrez, have climbed the rankings after reaching their first quarter finals.
