The draws for Valencia are out

The sixth tournament of the season on the World Padel Tour is ready to go. The draw for the second Master of the year, the Estrella Damm Valencia Master, is out. Alba Galán helped pick out the names from the hat for a tournament that begins this Saturday with prequalifying at the Club SUMA Padel Alfafar. Here are the standout clashes:

El Estrella Damm Valencia Master celebraba este mediodía el tradicional sorteo de cuadros y emparejamientos en ambas categorías. La jugadora madrileña Alba Galán, fue la encargada de ejercer de mano inocente en dicho sorteo que ha terminado por definir las rutas de acceso al titulo en Valencia. El torneo, dará sus primeros pasos a partir del sábado en las instalaciones del Club SUMA Padel Alfafar, con el arranque de la fase preprevia en categoría masculina. Men's draw

As it's a Master, the top four seeds also begin their tournament in the first round. A first round in which Fernando Belasteguín and Pablo Lima take on Sebastián Nerone and José Antonio García Diestro. Their immediate pursuers, Maxi Sánchez and Sanyo Gutiérrez, will have to face Victor Ruiz and local player Jose Rico. The winners of the last tournament in Jaen, Matías Díaz and Alejandro Galán, are up against an in-form pairing in Fede Quiles and Chico Gomes. The other seeds don't have a comfortable opener either: Juan Martín Díaz and Paquito Navarro will square off against a pairing that has already won a title this season in Lisbon, Uri Botello and Javier Ruiz. Meanwhile, the number 4 seeds, Franco Stupaczuk and Cristian Gutiérrez, will clash against Marcello Jardim and Agustín Tapia. The first round is played on Tuesday and Wednesday and the last sixteen begins on Thursday. La Fonteta will be the main venue for the tournament and it stages its first matches with the men's draw which is as follows:

 

Women's draw

Just like in Open events, the top four seeds enter the tournament in the second round. In the previous round, there are already some mouth-watering ties. Such as Cata Tenorio - Beatriz González vs Lorena Alonso - María Virginia Riera or Ana Fernández de Ossó - Maite Gabarrús vs Aránzazu Osoro - Nela Brito. Marta Ortega and Ariana Sánchez are fighting to get back in the top four and will start off against Nuria Rodríguez and Ángela Caro. On Thursday, the top four duos will start their campaigns, as the battle for top spot continues between Majo and Mapi Sánchez Alayeto and Gemma Triay and Lucía Sainz. Here is the full women's draw:
