Luck is set for the first date of the 2019 academic year, the first tournament of the year, the Cervezas Victoria Marbella Master 2019 held this wednesday the first draw and match pairings for the start of the official competition. 96 masculine pairs and 56 in feminine category already know the ways to the first title.
The official competition will start on Saturday 16-03 in the morning session with the premiere of the prequaly phase in the men's category. This season premieres a new system of qualy rounfs, with a redesign of the preview in which 16 pairs will have direct access, instead of the 8 seeded players that until last year had guaranteed their place in the qualy. The facilities of the Real Club Padel of Marbella will be the setting of these qualifying stages that will end on Monday 18/03. On Tuesday, the curtain will raise the main stage of the tournament located in the Palacio de los Deportes San Pedro de Alcántara.
For this round of sixteen the draw has brought a good number of interesting duels, with the addition that the double-seeded table will take part from the opening of the box, as expected in a Master tournament. The debut of the number one pairing in the world, Sanyo Gutiérrez and Maxi Sánchez, will take place against Álvaro Cepero and Sebastián Nerone, meanwhile Fernando Belasteguín and Pablo Lima will have to face Gonzalo Díaz and Aday Santana. Undoubtedly, one of the most attractive duels in this first round of the final draw will be led by Matías Díaz and Franco Stupaczuk, who will face Agustín Gómez Silingo and Adrián Allemandi. The match that will measure one of the new duos of this season, Cristian Gutiérrez and Ramiro Moyano against Lucas Campagnolo and Lucas Bergamini, also presents an enormous attraction.
