There will be a new pairing competing in this event: Federico Chingotto and Germán Tamame. Both have seen their partners struck down by injury this seasn; in Tamame's case, Maty Marina's knee has halted his campaign, forcing Tamame to play the Valladolid Open with Toni Bueno. While Federico Chingotto has seen his partner, Juan Tello, kept out of contention for six weeks with an injury to his quadriceps. Chingotto wasn't present at the last tournament but returns alongside Tamame.This pairing, brought together through adverse circumstances, will compete at the Estrella Damm Valencia Master and should provide stiff opposition for any pairing.
