Mati Díaz and Maxi Sánchez took on Franco Stupaczuk and Cristian Gutiérrez once again.The two finalists came out to the Gran Canaria Arena with a point to prove. The hostilities soon appeared on court. At 2-1, Stupa neutralized Maxi Sanchez's smash and grabbed a break to go up 3-1. Mati and Maxi's unbreakable faith kept them in the set and they were rewarded at 5-3 down when they broke back and held on to make it 5-5. Stupa and Cristian won their service game to make it 6-5 and then pounced with a critical break that would hand them the set 7-5.The second set started in similar fashion to the first. Stupa emerged once again at 2-1 and he and Cristian Gutierrez claimed the first break of the set. In the first set, Severino Iezzi's men dug deep to stay in it but this time Stupa and Cristian were ruthless and quickly raced away to victory.
