It finished 6-1 6-4, with Claudia Fernández and Julieta Bidahorria awaiting in the round of 16.Sharifova/Martínez vs Soriano/MartínezNext, Russian ace Ksenia Sharifova and her Spanish counterpart Patricia Martínez, who looked to make it back-to-back main draws.In front of them, Spaniards Arantxa Soriano and Araceli Martínez, who could do little to stand in their way.Sharifova and Martínez led via example from start to finish, and beat their rivals 6-2 6-3 to make it into the round of 32. Sofia Saiz and Bea Caldera await them.Reiter/Blanco vs Alonso/ VelascoFinally, Alicia Blanco and former number one Cecilia Reiter took to the court, taking on Lorena Alonso and Jimena Velasco.Blanco and Reiter looked for their first main draw together, and did so with a dominant display.The Spanish-Argentinian tandem won convincingly, sending Alonso and Velasco home via a 6-2 6-3.Nuria Rodríguez and Eli Amatriaín are their next obstacles in the round of 32.
