Sanyo and Tapia upset Lebrón and Galán again in epic Buenos Aires Padel Master semi-final

In a rematch from last time out in Sweden, the second Buenos Aires Padel Master semi-final saw number ones Juan Lebrón and Alejandro Galán put up against Sanyo Gutierrez and Agustin Tapia.

The highest-ranked all Argentinian pair in the world, Gutiérrez and Tapia fed off the massive support from their home crowd. When they were broken at 1-1, they counter-broke and took control of the set.

At 4-3, Sanyo and Tapia got another break to get them clear of their Spanish rivals, and they saw out the set 6-3.

In the second set, the intensity on the court increased as the La Rural atmosphere went through the roof. Being down 3-0 and 0-40, Gutiérrez and Tapia incredibly came back to make it 3-3. Breaking again at 4-4 and serving for the match, Lebrón and Galán counterbroke to make it 5-5.

Incredibly, the match had another twist in the tail as Tapia and Gutiérrez broke once again, this time seeing out the game on their own service. It finished 6-3, 7-5 after an hour and 45 minutes, with Gutiérrez and Tapia knocking out the number ones for the second tournament running.

Can they beat Martín Di Nenno and Paquito Navarro again in the final, like they did at the Malmö Padel Open?
