"Sanyito" and "Guga" come together in search of big things

Juan Manuel Vazquez's experience joins Sanyito's determination

With the start of the 2018 season on the World Padel Tour on the horizon, more pairings are shaping up. Everyone's challenge and objective is to improve on 2017 and be amongst the best duos in the world. Two Argentines, Juan Manuel Vázquez and Cristián Germán Gutiérrez will come together for 2018.

Cristian Germán Gutiérrez (San Luis, Argentina 15/12/1990) The young Argentine is on the back of an erratic 2017 in which he didn't reach the objectives he set himself. After starting the year alongside Aris Patiniotis, who he reached the quarter finals of the Buenos Aires Padel Master with. Cristian Germán Gutiérrez ended the year with Matías Nicoletti. A change of pairing but still the same difficult to feel comfortable on court. A season he wants to learn from to push forward in 2018. Quick, creative and with bundles of talent, "Sanyito", as he is known on tour, is hoping this partnership will bring out his best.

Juan Manuel Vázquez (Quilmes, Argentina 17/05/1985) In 2017 he ended a two year spell with Borja Yribarren. They'd become a pairing accustomed to reaching the final rounds of tournaments. But they failed to reach the quarter finals of an Open or a Master. Guga Vázquez still made 1184 points which left him 40th in the rankings. He will look to offer his experience to his new partner to try and reach the final rounds of tournaments.
