Mapi and Majo broke three straight times and ran away with the set 6-0.Fernández and Marrero dusted themselves off and fought back despite going a break down again. Clawing it back to 5-5, the set was determined via tie-break and would go to the four-seed 6-7.In the third and final set, the beast awoke once more inside the four-time number ones of the world, who looked their brilliant best as they blew the hinges off the doors of the set and won 6-1 to emerge victorious once again, two years and three months later. Lamperti/Capra (1) vs Nieto/Sanz (2)The men's final saw the top two seeds, both of which temporary partnerships, as Lucho Capra and Miguel Lamperti faced Jon Sanz and Coki Nieto.Capra has five Challenger titles to his name going into the final, more than anyone else and one more than four-time winner Nieto. It would be Sanz and Nieto who would completely dominate the match. The Spaniards were met with little resistance, operating at an incredibly high level. After barely an hour, they won 6-1 6-0 to lift the title in Torrent, and draw Nieto level with Capra and Godo Díaz for five Challenger trophies.
