Reigning number ones Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay have won the Circus Brussels Padel Open 2022 after taking down Virginia Riera and Patricia Llaguno in three sets on Sunday.
The Tour & Taxis witnessed match that almost lasted two-and-a-half hours, Salazar and Triay having to come back from a set down.
Riera and Llaguno started on fire but could eventually not contain the power from the other side of the court.
For Triay, it is her 12th title with Salazar, equalling the number of tournaments she won in the five years she played with Lucía Sainz.
