Round of 16: Top four pair eliminated in Areco Malmö Padel Open debut

Four-seed Virginia Riera and Patricia Llaguno were sent home in their first Areco Malmö Padel Open match in the round of 16 on Thursday.

This confirms Marta Ortega and Bea González as the three-seed for the remainder of the 2022 season, the Spaniards winning four titles this campaign.

Ortega and Gonzalez had few problems in their debut, beating Eli Amatriain and Nuria Rodriguez in straight sets.
