Four matches, four finals with the same prize for the winners: a place in the main draw of the Estrella Damm Zaragoza Open 2018. The battle to be among the best 32 pairings took place once again in front of a packed stadium.José Rico and Víctor Ruiz continue on the up after having reached the quarter finals at the last Open and having won the Spanish National Championships last Sunday. This time they reached the main draw by winning 7-6 / 6-3 against Rubén Rivera and Gerard Company, who are back together after not playing alongside each other at the Alicante Open.Francisco "Chico" Gomes and Ernesto Moreno played out a brutal three setter against Sergio Icardo and Javier Redondo. After Gomes and Moreno won the first set 7-6, Icardo and Redondo levelled it up by winning the second 6-4.
