Both pairs came into the final without dropping a single set in the previous three rounds. Defending their advantage with determination, Brea and Icardo struggled to get on level terms. Barring a few flashes of brilliance, they were broken again and beaten comprehensively by 6-2 in the first set.The second set saw more of the same dynamic.
