Former number one Pablo Lima has announced he will retire at the end of the 2023 World Padel Tour season.

The Brazilian is one of the most successful players in the sport's history, winning 50 titles and being the number one for three consecutive seasons between 2015-2017.

Playing with Maxi Sanchez and Franco Stupaczuk in 2022, Lima won the Human French Padel Open and made a total of five finals.

In a sit-down interview with WPT, the 36-year-old explained the reasoning behind his decision, looks back on his career and reacts to video messages sent to him by some of his former partners.
