Just eight couples remained as the Estrella Damm Menorca Open quarter-finals were disputed on Friday at the Pavelló Menorca.

Three of the top eight pairs were already eliminated, and more surprises would unfold throughout the matchday again.

On court 2, Marta Ortega and Bea González had a historically perfect showing, not conceding a single game as they won 6-0 6-0. A match in the quarter-finals or later has only once been swept before back in 2017.
