Based on hard work and determination, 2017 was the year that they took off, and now they don't want to look back down. Here is the list of biggest climbers from 2017: Top 50The biggest riser inside the women's top 50 was France's Laura Clergue, who in her first season on the World Padel Tour moved up 52 places from 98th to 46th. Her partner, Meli García Truchado improved 42 places from 90th to 48th in 2017. The third player on this list is Argentine Aránzazu Osoro, who ended her first whole season on the World Padel Tour with an improvement of 40 places. She'll start the new year inside the top 50, in 32nd. The fourth biggest improver was Paula Jose María who made it to 39th in the rankings on the back of an 18 place rise. Just outside the top 50, in 51st, is Silvia Lopez Vidal who moved up 58 places. Some of the big names that made the Estrella Damm Master Final also improved significantly. Such as Ariana Sánchez, who ended 2017 with a nine place improvement. Or the veteran Catalina Tenorio, who ended 2017 alongside Marta Marrero, moving up seven places.
