No joy for wild cards at Areco Malmö Padel Open centre court

Wednesday saw all four Swedish wild cards in action in the Areco Malmö Padel Open 2022 round of 32 with mixed results.

Swedish number one Daniel Windahl and his partner José Solano took the first set in style against Javi Ruiz and Pablo Lijó, but could not convert it into a match win.

Six-seed Martín Di Nenno and Coki Nieto were also in action on the heels off their semi-final last time out, while Delfi Brea and Marta Marrero looked to make amends after their nightmare debut in Menorca.
