Marrero and Salazar landed into the match with a break in the first game. The number 3 imposed their style of play with Salazar working points and Marta Marrero finishing them off. Reiter and Navarro were paying for their slow start and had a chance to break back in the sixth gaem but didn't take. They were punished for it as they lost the set 6-2 in 43 minutes. The second set followed a similar pattern to the first with Marrero and Salazar again breaking early, this time in the third game. Reiter and Navarro were finding more difficulties to hurt their opponents on their serve and another break was enough to clinch the match for Marrero and Salazar at 6-2.
