— Ale Galán (@alegalan96) December 27, 2019
Both players were the main protagonists of the frantic race for the world number one that was lived in 2020. In fact, both members of the couple join their paths after completing their best year respectively as professionals in World Padel Tour. Juan Lebrón became after his triumph in the Sao Paulo Open 2019, the first world number one born in Spain in the history of professional padel. Along with Paquito Navarro, the player would add a total of five titles to crown the campaign at the top of the list. A dream year to rise with the throne of padel with only 24 years.
One more only than those of his new partner, Ale Galán (23), who comes to this project after completing a course in which has added a total of five titles. The first would arrive next to Juan Mieres in the Buenos Aires Padel Master 2019. The other four would get them next to a whole number one like Pablo Lima. The last, the Estrella Damm Master Final 2019, made him the youngest "teacher" in the history of the circuit. Galán would finish the year occupying the position number 3 of the ranking.
A pair that emerges with the sights set on top. It will be the youngest duo in the history of World Padel Tour to occupy the highest ranking of favorites. As arguments to maintain that position of privilege: Power, imagination, impudence and talent to demonstrate that their moment of reign does not admit postponements. Both players stand out for a physical domain of the scene and for an inexhaustible offensive repertoire. The challenge will be to channel that tremendous potential to be reliable, regular and above all competitive in the face of the challenges ahead.
