Barbara Las Heras and Veronica Virseda have been crowned the inaugural Tau Ceramica Menorca Challenger Final winners as they defeated Lucia Sainz and Carla Mesa by 6-3 6-2.
Las Heras and Virseda won the Bajo Aragon Challenger in August, and added to their silver on Sunday at the Poliesportiu Municipal D'Alaior in front of thousands of fans.
This further underlines their break-out 2022 season, Las Heras and Virseda firmly establishing themselves amongst the world's very best.
With a final in the Marbella Master, five semi-final appearances and two Challenger titles, 2022 has been the best season in both of their professional careers.
