Their names are synonymous with a padel spectacle. We're talking about Miguel Lamperti and Luciano Capra, an Argentine pairing that will blend their experience and skill for 2019. This will undoubtedly be one of the pairings to look out for in the new season, and one that fans will be happy to pay their tickets to go and watch. Charisma, character and an eye for the spectacular are the three main virtues of this new duo.
Miguel Lamperti is one of the most renowned hard-hitters on the World Padel Tour. The charismatic backhand court player has just ended a three year spell with his childhood friend Juan Mieres. During that time, the duo from Bahia Blanca has always been in the top 4 or 5 pairings in the world. They were one of the standout partnerships on tour and only missed out on a title, having reached three finals. From now on, Lamperti's rockets will be at the service of Lucho Capra.
Luciano Capra has ended his partnership with Ramiro Moyano which lasted for the whole of 2018. Their best result together was the final of the Lugo Open 2018. The Argentine lefty is one of the players with the greatest potential on tour. Tireless in defence but also extremely useful in attack, the unpredictable Capra is looking to qualify for a Master Final again just like in 2017.
