Two-seed Paula Josemaría and Ariana Sánchez have qualified for the Estrella Damm Comunidad de Madrid Master 2022 after beating Virginia Riera and Patricia Llaguno.
In a three-set affair that took nearly three hours, Josemaría and Sánchez have extended their winning streak to 16 consecutive matches.
However, it is the first time during the streak they have lost a set, leaving the streak at 31 consecutive sets won.
