Pre-qualifying for the Cervezas Victoria Málaga Open 2022 saw several international players go through to qualifying on Tuesday.

The tenth Open of the 2022 World Padel Tour season is the final tournament before the summer break, with eight tickets to qualifying up for grabs.

 

Number one seed Nuria Vivancos and Lourdes Pascual went through without a hitch, winning 6-3 6-4, as did Melania Merino and Alejandra Alonso, who won 7-5 6-2.

Italians Emily Stellato and Carolina Petrelli, pre-qualifying's three-seed, were also granted passage to qualifying after a 6-4 6-3 win. Spaniards Agueda Pérez and Amanda López beat Manuela Schuck and Mónica Gómez, the four-seed, by 7-6 6-3.

Raquel Segura and Nicole Traviesa will also continue to fight, winning 7-6 6-3 in their duel, as will Marta Porras and Eugenia Guimet.

Spanish tandem María Rodríguez and Mireia Herrada played the only three-setter of the day, winning 6-7 6-4 7-5 against Letizia Manquillo and Patrícia Ribeiro.

Finally, Estela Francés and Russian Ksenia Sharifova went through unscathed 6-4 6-3.
