Happy Birthday!

Pablo Lima and Agustín Tapia blew the World’s top ranked pair Alejandro Galán and Juan Lebrón of the court in a 6-4, 6-4 victory in the second Men’s semifinal at Las Rozas.

Lima and Tapia came out playing aggressively from the start to break in the third game of the first set and then controlled their own service games, losing just two points on them to take the first set.

Their dominance carried on into the first game of the second set as they broke Galán’s service again. With a specific game plan to dominate at the net, they were able to hold on to their serve pretty easily to see out the second set too in what is being described by some as the performance of the year so far on the World Padel Tour.

On Sunday they will face a different challenge in the pairing of Sanyo Gutiérrez and Fernando Belasteguín in the Men’s final.
