Sanyo Gutiérrez and Agustín Tapia have won the Estrella Damm Reus Costa Daurada Open 2022 in their first title of the new season.
The Argentinians took down number ones Juan Lebrón and Alejandro Galán in just over an hour at the Pavelló Olímpic de Reus in their second title as a pair.
This sees them take the lead in The Race 2022 after their semi-finals appearance in Miami.

Tapia and Gutiérrez drew first blood in the third game, winning the first gold point of the match to gain an advantage. Things got worse for Lebrón and Galán at 2-4 when they got broken once more. 6-2 was the score after 35 minutes.
The dynamic of the match stayed the same in the second set as Gutiérrez and Tapia broke to open the second set. Lebrón and Galán struggled mightily to replicate the form from earlier in the tournament and were again broken at 2-4.

Serving for the match, Tapia and Sanyo made no mistake and finished the match 6-2 6-2 after just an hour and seven minutes.
