While Ortega and González like to play the same way, they were less effective in doing so, and the Sánchez Alayeto sisters were soon up 4-2, finishing the set 3-6.Mapi and Majo are without a title since 2020, and while they got close, the second set would go their opponents' way. Marta and Bea this time took a 4-2 lead to grab a 6-3 of their own and force a decider. The younger pairing took this momentum into the third and final set, where they broke twice to go 4-0 up straightaway. Mapi and Majo could not repair the damage or stop the bleeding, and this match finished 3-6 6-3 6-1 to González and Ortega.Marta Ortega and Bea González, the winners of the Tau Cerámica Albacete Challenger 2022!
