The two pairings that have won both tournaments to date came face to face. Alejandra Salazar - Marta Marrero and Gemma Triay - Lucía Sainz clash for a place in the final against the Sánchez Alayeto sisters. A vibrant and exciting match between four top quality players. There wasn't much between the two in the first set but at 5-5, Gemma and Lucia pulled ahead to win the set 7-5.The second set started with Gemma and Lucia dictating play again. They went 4-1 up in the blink of an eye. It seemed as if Ale and Marta's time was running out but they suddenly found an extra gear out of nowhere. Alejandra played to the best of her potential and Marrero was a wall in defence. That led them to win five games in a row and claim the set 6-4.The last set would decide the finalist. It was impossible to find more excitement and after two and a half hours the decisive break came. Gemma and Lucia served it out and won 6-4 to reach their second final of the season.
