Galán and Lebrón win Estrella Damm Master Final to end 2021 in style

The final match of the 2021 World Padel Tour season was one of the biggest ones of them all, as the Madrid Arena hosted the men's final of the Estrella Damm Master Final 2021.

Sanyo Gutiérrez and 2020 Master Final winner Agustín Tapia played the newly crowned number one pair Juan Lebrón and Madrid-born Alejandro Galán for the biggest title of the season.

The match started very intense with both pairings holding their serve, until the fifth game of the opening set.

Galán and Lebrón broke their opponents to go 4-2 up. Sanyo and Tapia persevered on court and had break points, but the number ones defended their lead excellently and did not allow for a comeback to happen. Galán and Lebrón won the first set 6-4.

Onto the second frame, where after six games the set was split 3-3. Galán and Lebrón then attacked, hitting hard and playing with their typical high intensity. The number one pairing broke in the seventh game of the second set, and secured their service in the following games to see out the match.

Alejandro Galán and Juan Lebrón won the final 6-4 and 6-4 to be crowned the Masters of 2021!
