The Cervezas Victoria Marbella Master 2022 main draw has been completed on Monday evening as qualifying reached its conclusion.

As it is a Master, the first one of the 2022 World Padel Tour season, top four seeds will participate too in the round of 32, with four more spots up for grabs besides the top 28 seeds.

Barahona/Esbri vs Piñeiro/Jiménez

The first of the four qualifying finals featured the top seed, Javi Barahona and Juanlu Esbri. They faced a new pairing in Martín Piñeiro and young José Jiménez.

Barahona and Esbri have been regulars in the main draw, and got another good start in the final as they went 4-6 up after the first set.

Piñeiro and Jiménez struck back, however, first with a 6-4 in the second set and then another in the third.

It finished 4-6 6-4 6-4 and Piñeiro/Jiménez make their first main draw together. In the round of 32, Miguel Yanguas and Coki Nieto await.

Gutiérrez/Windahl vs Muñoz/Vilariño

Next were Cristian Gutiérrez and Swede Daniel Windahl, looking to qualify for their first main draw against Jaime Muñoz and Ignacio Vilariño.

Gutiérrez and Windahl were already in the main draw last time out in Copenhagen, but as a wild card. Windahl, or any other male Swede, has never qualified for a main draw.

They had a good start too, taking the first set 3-6, but could not keep it up in the second set. Muñoz and Vilariño hit the accelerator and took a double 6-4 in the second and third.

The Spaniards went through, and will play José García Diestro and Pincho Fernández in the round of 32.

Solano/Fermosell vs Tison/Zapata

Third were José Solano and Jaime Fermosell, facing Teo Zapata and Frenchman Benjamin Tison.

Zapata and Tison have made somewhat of a habit making the main draw, but faced tough opposition on Monday evening.

Tison and Zapata won the opening set 6-3, but were countered 5-7 in the second to force another three-setter.

The French-Spanish tandem regained control to win 6-3 in the final frame, and will play Agustín Gutiérrez and José Rico in the first round.

Quílez/Bueno vs Perino/Ayats

Finally, Marc Quílez and Toni Bueno were in action against another relatively new pair in Denis Perino and Arnau Ayats.

Quílez and Bueno have been regulars in the qualifying finals, and they showed they have what it takes too on Monday. It ended with a double 6-3 to the Spaniards.

Six-seed Fernando Belasteguín and Arturo Coello wait for them on Wednesday in the round of 32.
