Fernando Belasteguín and Pablo Lima impose the law of the number ones

Few times has there been so much at stake on a padel court. The final between Maxi - Sanyo and Bela - Lima wouldn't only decide the winner of the tournament but also who would be crowned as the number one player in the world, a ranking that Belasteguin has held for 16 years.

Belasteguin and Lima, who has been number one for three years, proved why they hold that status with an excellent performance. In the first set they were so good in fact that Sanyo and Maxi couldn't clinch a single game and lost 6-0.

Sanyo and Maxi brought out their best padel in the second set of their semifinal against Paquito and Juan Martin but this time Bela and Lima gave them no chance. They were quite simply unstoppable and won 6-2. Fernando Belasteguín and Pablo Lima are the champions of the Estrella Damm Valencia Master.
