Eight pairings survive a tough prequalifying process at the Valladolid Open

Prequalifying ended on Monday at the Valladolid OpenAfter overcoming three tough rounds, eight pairings have earned the right to continue in their quest to reach the main draw at the fifth event of the season on the World Padel Tour. The following eight pairings have made it through at the Club Raqueta.

The first pairing to make it through was Marc Quílez and Andrés Britoswho knocked out Fran Ramírez and Pedro Vera after winning 6-4 / 6-4 in an hour and fifteen minutes.

Also still in the battle are Eduardo Alonso and Mario Cerezowho won 6-3 / 7-6 against José Carlos Gaspar and Jorge Ruiz.

One of the tightest matches of the day saw Adriá Mercadal and Ricardo Martínez  overcome Javier Rico and Jorge Nieto 7-6 / 7-6. Christian Fuster and Miguel Ángel Solbes also grabbed a win over Antón Sans and Íñigo Zaratiegui with a 7-6 / 6-3 scoreline.

Antonio Luque and Diogo Rocha won 7-6 / 6-3 against Eduardo Romero and Javier Romero, while Javier Redondo and Javier Martínez won 6-3 / 6-2 against José Solano and Vasco Pascoal.

Sergio Icardo and José David Sánchez Serrano will be in the qualifying draw after beating Denis Perino and David Gutiérrez 6-4 / 7-5.

The last pairing to make it through was Javier González Barahona and Jerónimo González Luque after they defeated David García Campos and Javier Pérez Morillas 7-6 / 6-3.
