Denmark to host World Padel Tour from 2022 with Danish Padel Open

Denmark has been officially added to the World Padel Tour calendar from 2022 onward as the world's best players will dispute the Danish Padel Open.

It will be the first time the Scandinavian country will host an official World Padel Tour event, and it will do so again in 2023.

Copenhagen will be the city to host the Open, which will accommodate the men as well as the women's Circuit.

When is the Danish Padel Open?

The first-ever Danish Padel Open will be held in the Scandinavian spring. To be exact, the tournament will take place on 15-22 May.

The addition of Denmark to the already impressive list of international tournaments further underlines the worldwide growth of padel, the fastest-growing competition of the last five years.

Denmark will be the second Scandinavian country to host a World Padel Tour event, with the Swedish Open having been on the calendar for several years with great success.

It will however give an opportunity for the local Danish fanbase to further expand, with the sport already experiencing substantial growth recently. The Danish Padel Open will give local fans the opportunity to see world-class padel in person for the first time.

World Padel Tour, both the male and female Circuit, is going to Denmark in 2022 and 2023, making them the latest addition to the worldwide calendar of the competition.

To our Danish fans: we will see you in Copenhagen in May. Welcome to the best padel the world has to offer, welcome to World Padel Tour!
