Denmark and all five countries that host first-ever WPT Opens in 2022

Set to become the 13th different country to host World Padel Tour with the upcoming Danish Padel Open, Denmark is one of five countries to have its first Open in 2022.

With 33 Open, Challenger, Exhibition and Master events in 14 different countries, 2022 is by far the most international season in WPT history.

The United States had its first Open since 2017 with the Blockchain.com Miami Padel Open in February, and Portugal, Italy, Mexico and Argentina all continued to feature on the calendar.

New destinations in 2022

Earlier in May, Belgium hosted its first-ever Open with the spectacular Circus Brussels Padel Open 2022 at the Tour & Taxis.

Still fresh in all World Padel Tour fans' collective memory, the best padel players in the world now travel north to compete in the Danish Padel Open. It will be the first time ever Denmark will host WPT, allowing local fans to witness world-class padel up close.

June will feature two more debuts with the Vienna Padel Open 2022 from June 6th-12th and the Human French Padel Open 2022 from June 13th-19th. France has hosted Exhibition and Challenger events prior, but never an Open.

From June 30th to July 3rd, the Tampere Exhibition 2022 will also see WPT travel to Finland for the very first time.

Finally, after the summer break, World Padel Tour will touch down in the Netherlands for the very first time.

One of the fastest-growing padel-loving countries, the Amsterdam Padel Open will prove to be another stunning destination on the WPT itinerary for the 2022 season.
