Number ones Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez are in the final of the Estrella Damm Barcelona Master Final 2022 after beating Virginia Riera and Patricia Llaguno by 4-6 6-2 7-6(3).
Josemaria and Sanchez had to come back from a set down again, having done so on Thursday as well against Mapi and Majo Sanchez Alayeto, as the Spaniards disputed another three-hour three-set match at the Palau Sant Jordi.
A match that featured 17 breaks in total, Ari and Paula recovered a two-break deficit in the third set and will dispute Sunday's final, where they could be crowned as 2022's number-one pairing.
