With the 2022 World Padel Tour season around the corner, the upcoming campaign will implement some new changes in its organisation for all tournaments.

Three center courts

Most of the tournaments in 2022 will be played at three center courts. This entails three courts that have referees dedicated to them, and space for the players to run off-court.

There will still be a main court with the biggest stands, however, where the biggest matches will all take place. All three courts will have the same standards and facilities.

Round of 32 spread across two days

The next update is the round of 32 matches will now be spread across two days. All 24 games were previously played on Wednesday, but this will now be split into two, 12 on Tuesday and 12 on Wednesday.

There will be an equal split of male and female matches in these two days, meaning six men's and six women's matches per day.

From the round of 16 onwards, all matches will be played on the same day.
