Playing with Rafael Méndez last season, Cepero made 15 Open and Master final draw appearances. Seven of the 15 times, the pair advanced to the round of 16, but never advanced past that stage.Cepero will hope to get deeper into tournaments this season alongside Alba. Unlike Cepero, however, Alba did make a Challenger semi-finals appearance in Lerma.Together with Miguel Semmler, the two had a solid season.
