Cata Tenorio and Bea González are dreaming big again in the Costa del Sol

The last place in the semifinals would be handed out at the Club Cerrado del Águila in a match full of attractions.

On one side of the court, the number four seeds Marta Ortega and Ariana Sánchezand on the other Cata Tenorio and young Malagueña Beatriz Gonzálezwho were looking for their second semifinal of the season. The favourites came out strong and took a 3-0 lead, with Marta Ortega setting a very high tempo and Ari Sanchez taking responsibility for the attack. They would take the set 6-3. In the second set Tenorio and Gonzalez fought very hard but were broken in the eleventh game, which left Ortega and Sanchez serving for the match at 6-5. But they didn't close it out and it went to a tiebreak, where Tenorio and Gonzalez took their opportunities to force a third set (7-6). That was a huge blow for Ortega and Sanchez, as they let the first three games of the set slip away. Martita and Ari clawed back one break but Cata and Bea had their eyes set on the semifinals and they won 6-2 to reach their second semifinals.
