11th-seeded Verónica Virseda and Bárbara Las Heras have reached their first-ever World Padel Tour final as they won Saturday's Cervezas Victoria Marbella Master 2022 semi-finals on Saturday.
Both individually and as a duo, Virseda and Las Heras had not even made a semi-final before 2022. They are one of the break-out stars of the season, playing their third semi-final of the campaign already in Marbella, and the Spaniards have now taken the next step.
Against seven-seed Aranza Osoro and Victoria Iglesias, they won in straight sets to advance. Osoro and Iglesias still look for their first final together, having now lost all nine semis they have reached.
